Brief description
Di.T.N.E. supports, by means of technological and scientific excellence, the research in the energy production field. In the focus of attention thereby is the infrastructure consolidation of the research and technology transfer. Simultaneously, the requirements and expectations of the national production companies are taken into account, just as the common European strategies are in the competition, innovation and sustained development spheres. The company operates predominantly in the following research areas:
1. Energy conversion systems;
2. Systems to reduce and re-use CO2;
3. Smart technologies for smart grids;
4. Innovative systems for power generation from solar energy;
5. Innovative systems for power generation from wind power;
6. Innovative systems for power and water generation from biomass;
7. Fuel cells;
8. Innovative systems for power generation from deep geothermal energy
9. Advanced energy economy technology.
The district supports, in addition, institutions, which look after mainly the support of scientific research and technology. In the focus here is both the participation, coordination and development of projects and also the support of national and international initiatives in the energy sector.
