Inclusion in EU project

  • RECITAL (Relay Centre for Central Italy: part of the Europe-wide IRC Network): Umbria Innovazione represents the Umbria Region within the IRC Network. As the interface between local companies and the European partners Umbria Innovazione updates reports on innovative technologies, brokers offers and enquiries and advises the companies
  • INTERREG III B –EU joint Initiative for Sponsoring Transnational Cooperation and Development
  • EFFORT (VI. Framework Programme for Research and Innovation of the EU): the project, which is managed by Umbria Innovazione, analyses the factors which lead to the regional and supraregional clusters formation of small and medium-sized companies with the aim of facilitating access to the global market
  • Innovation-NET: European Project, which is concentrated on the coordination of the e-business Programme and Innovation Programmes of the European countries
  • ASSISTENZA: the project initiated by the European Investment Bank (BEI), supports technology parks in Tunisia
  • NANOFUN-POLY: European Research Network in the Nano Sciences

Activities

  • Sponsorship of the information and knowledge exchange between the regional companies
  • Participation in scientific cooperation programmes. Participating countries: France, Greece, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Hungary, Belgium, Argentina, Tunisia, Latvia and Estonia
  • Support of the companies acquiring regional, national or international funding for research projects
  • Build-up of the sponsors in the innovation field

Contacts to foreign companies are welcomed in the following areas:

To date there have been no direct contacts with Germany. However, contacts would be desirable in the fields: ICT, aerospace, mechanical engineering, textiles and the participation in technological sponsorship and innovation programmes for small and medium-sized companies.
